He is a recipient of the State Council's special allowance, a part-time clinical professor and doctoral supervisor of the New England Institute of optometry, a member of the 10th Central Committee of the Chinese Democratic League, and a member of the 9th Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference. He has won the first prize of science and technology progress award of Zhejiang Province (refractive surgery research, the first host) and the second prize of national teaching achievement twice. He has presided over the national "Tenth Five Year Plan" research project in the field of refractive surgery, and published more than 100 papers, including 8 papers included in SCI. He edited the "Tenth Five Year Plan" of the Ministry of education. As a doctoral and master's guide, there are more than 50 graduate students who are studying and have graduated. In 2012, they won the title of "top 100 Chinese famous doctors".
